The Federal Service for Labour and Employment (Rostrud) and Yakov and Partners Research Institute have entered into a long-term strategic cooperation agreement. The document forms a basis for collaboration between the two organizations, which will provide communication, advisory, analytical, and expert support to each other. Among other things, they will share their analytical insights and methodologies, work together on publications, implement practical projects, and organize industry conferences, forums, workshops, and roundtables.

“Our key priorities include labour market development, employment promotion, and ensuring that the economy’s labour needs are met. Rostrud is actively involved in the Demography national project and, starting from 2025, a new national project called ‘Human Resources.’ Yakov and Partners Research Institute conducts research focused on the labour market and the impact of current trends on its future. I am confident that our collaboration will be fruitful and that it will help make more effective decisions and design measures to improve the country’s labour market”

Mikhail Ivankov, Head of Rostrud

Rostrud and Yakov and Partners will work together on a wide range of issues related to the labour market and productivity improvement, from analytics, labour supply forecasts, and understanding of the demand for young people in the labour market to ways of adapting the labour market to advanced technologies.

“Our strategic cooperation with the Federal Service for Labour and Employment is crucial both for the Institute and for Russian citizens as a whole. This is a new opportunity for us to make a meaningful contribution to the development of our country. Our extensive and long-standing experience in serving leading Russian companies across all sectors helped us gain a deep understanding of issues and business opportunities in the HR field, and our collaboration with Rostrud will enable us to use this experience and our quality analytics for the benefit of the Russian economy as a whole. Unlocking people’s potential is one of our key values, so it is gratifying to know that, among other things, our work will help Russian people fulfill their potential in the labour market”

Yakov Sergienko, Head of Yakov and Partners Research Institute
